Our Jaguar 8HP70 High Stall Torque Converters are professionally remanufactured and performance modified to deliver an approximate 3,000 RPM flash stall for improved launch performance and drivability in high-performance applications.
Each converter is completely disassembled, inspected, and upgraded using proven performance modifications. The stator fins are precision cut, re-angled, and furnace brazed to optimize hydraulic flow characteristics and achieve the desired stall speed. We also machine back of the back of the stator as part of the modification process.
During assembly, each converter receives updated bearings and upgraded clutch lining to improve durability and long-term reliability. The converter is then carefully reassembled and welded to OEM-quality standards.
